Adam Receives 8th Emmy Nomination

Nominations for the 40th annual Daytime Emmy awards were announced this morning, and Adam once again recieved a nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Music Direction and Composition for his work on Penguins of Madagascar. This is his eighth Emmy nomination, having recieved nominations in 2005, 2010, 2011 and 2012 with wins in 2011 and 2012.

Adam Scores Dreamworks/Nickelodeon's Monsters vs Aliens

Adam is scoring the new series Monsters vs Aliens, based on the Dreamworks feature film. The series premieres April 6, 2013 on Nickelodeon with a special sneak peak Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 9:30pm.

Adam Nominated for "Best Music" Annie award

This morning the International Animated Film Society/ASIFA-Hollywood announced nominations for the 40th Annual Annie Awards. Adam received a nomination for Best Music in an Animated Television/Broadcast Production for his work on Penguins of Madagascar. This is Adam's second Annie nomination.

Adam Wins Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Song

Tonight the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences awarded Adam Berry and lyricist Brandon Sawyer a Daytime Emmy Award for their original song, "Happy Little Land of Hoboken." The song appeared in the Penguins of Madagascar episode, "The Hoboken Surprise," and is an ensemble piece with a solo performed by Megan Hilty.

Adam Nominated for Four Emmy Awards

Today the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the nominees for the 39th annual Daytime Emmy Awards. Adam has been nominated for four awards for his work on The Penguins of Madagascar, including one for OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN MUSIC DIRECTION AND COMPOSITION and two for OUTSTANDING ORIGINAL SONG. Overall the show received eight nominations.

The International Animated Film Society, ASIFA-Hollywood, announced nominations today for its 39th Annual Annie Awards recognizing the year€™s best in the field of animation. Adam recieved a nomination in the category "Best Music in a Television Production" for his work on Penguins of Madagascar. Overall the show received five nominations, including Best Animated Program.

Neil Patrick Harris returns as the Penguins' sinister nemesis, Dr. Blowhole, in the new Penguins of Madagascar special, "Blowhole Strikes Back," premiering Friday, Sept. 9, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT). Last night the British Academy of Film and Television Arts awarded The Penguins of Madagascar a BAFTA award in the International category. This is the second year in a row that the show has been honored. Judges said of the program, "Exemplary in its technical aspects, storytelling, pacing, dialogue, musical score...A beautifully animated, brilliantly written show."

The album contains 99 tracks that include both underscore and songs from all three seasons and features several songs that Adam co-wrote with Sarah, including "Wooden Mittens," and "Glad I Hurt My Hand." The MPSE (Motion Picture Sound Editors) awarded the sound editors of The Penguins of Madagascar a Golden Reel Award for best Sound Editing: sound effects, foley, music, dialogue and ADR.
