Adam receives 8th Emmy Nomination

Nominations for the 40th annual Daytime Emmy awards were announced this morning, and Adam once again recieved a nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Music Direction and Composition for his work on Penguins of Madagascar. This is his eighth Emmy nomination, having recieved nominations in 2005, 2010, 2011 and 2012 with wins in 2011 and 2012.

Adam wins Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Song

Tonight the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences awarded Adam Berry and lyricist Brandon Sawyer a Daytime Emmy Award for their original song, "Happy Little Land of Hoboken." The song appeared in the Penguins of Madagascar episode, "The Hoboken Surprise," and is an ensemble piece with a solo performed by Megan Hilty.

This is the second year in a row that the show has been honored.
